• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Great to be a member

Howdy all you Spyder/Ryker folks!

I just bought a 2014 Spyder RTs and want to know all about it.

Story:
The machine has 83K on the clock. One owner, put 82+ K on it.Garaged in Eugene, OR? Took good care of it.Bought a new 22? Sold it to a woman (Honda Street rider). She bought it via dad's advice. A died-in-wool Harley dude very familiar with trikes of all "flavors". BTW-The wife/mother has a 2019 Spyder. She has a totally paralyzed son and needed money to buy specially-equipped van. Rode it all of about 1,300 miles in two years.

I looked it over and gave her a down payment.Researched it with Canam America with the VIN. Looked clean. Minor collision parts, last full maintenance at a dealer in Portland, OR with 63K. Owner info unavailable with confidentiality laws. Maybe a crap-shoot? We will see.

I'm into MC maintenance and a darn good "wrench"- did a one year certificate at Missoula Votech. (recreational power training). Been wrenching since I was 13 and just clicked off my 77th birthday! Had a couple Harleys, a Triumph, a Honda and 2 Kawasakis in my stables over the years.

My wife and I are MC endorsed by state courses. (I've ridden since I was 14 and taken several state's MC exams).
She is anxious to get familiar and ride!

That's my story. Happy to be here and share with the group.
