Thanks for the add

I'm New to Spyders just purchased a 2014 RTL
changing from a GW Trike, So far I am very impressed on the comfort and handling of this bike
I am looking into the driver passenger intercom like my GW had
The bike came with a 2017 CB kit that was never installed, I have been lurking around this site for a few days now and saw a post about the 2014's having a issue with limp home mode if the PTT button was pressed and the the CB kits were being worked on too correct this

Was the problem fixed in the CB kit that I have dated 2017?
I want to add the kit to be able to have the wired intercom I really wont use the CB itself
