• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New From Down Under

Hey guys, we're located in Australia and we recently bought a Daytona and are looking forward to reading thru the threads and obtaining info regarding performance mods about our new, most prized possession.
Thanks,

Simo & Tulane :)

Welcome to the Forum, Simo & Tulane! :welcome:

Good to see a couple more SpyderLovers from Down Under coming aboard, and you're not alone - we've already got a few Banana Benders! Where are you from up there - Bris-vegas?? :dontknow:

I'm one of about a half dozen from South Oz, altho only 3 or 4 of us seem to post regularly; there's a similar turn-out & posting rate from Vic; a few over in WA; a couple in Tas; and IIRC, the last time I counted we had 1 or 2 in NT; plus about a dozen irregular posters from NSW. So as you can see, we've quite a mix of members now, spread out all over the country, altho by no means a true representation of how many Spyders we actually have in Oz - last comparison, we had more Oz Spyder Ryders per capita than in the US; but of course, we're spread out a lot more so unless you know your local Ryders, it's probably harder to catch up with each other face to face.

To that end (meeting other Ozzie Spyder Ryders, that is! :p ) have you checked out the info on next year's Spyder Muster?? 2025 it's going to be held in St Helen's, Tasmania, Nov 14th to 16th - check out the website - www.spydermuster.com.au - I think there's a faceache page too, if you're inta that sorta pain. ;)

Anyhow, good to see you here, hopefully we'll see you posting out on the more frequented public pages soon - lotsa good info to be found here, all it takes to see/find out just about everything you could ever dream of asking about Spyders is waiting for you to do a bit of searching & some reading; and of course, if you can't find what you're after that way, there's lotsa people willing to help if you ask! Again, :welcome:
