• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hello everyone. We recently acquired a 2014 Spyder RT-S SE6, our first Spyder. After being on two wheels for many years this was a unique change. I've logged many miles on a 1988 GL1500 GoldWing, including two cross country trips and two Iron Butt rides. After several years of not riding (sold the GoldWing) I wanted to get back on a bike, but my wife won't ride on anything two wheels. The Spyder RT-S was the compromise. I never liked the traditional trikes and refuse to get a "training wheel kit" to put on a regular bike. I'm looking forward to learning new things on here as well as offering help from my own experiences.

Welcome to the forum SignDude. :congrats: on the new to you 2014 Spyder RTS. I hope you enjoy it. You can find lots of good information here on the Spyder RTS in the different areas of the forum. Make sure and post a photo of your new ride in the Spyder garage area of the forum. Going from 2 wheels to to the Spyder is very different. It will take some time and mile to retrain yourself. But once you get the hang of it you will love it. Coming to a stop at a red light and not having to put your foot down to hold the bike up is a good feeling, it put a smile on my face every time for a long while. Its been a log time since I used a kickstand now, takes time to get use too but well worth it. I hope to see you around the forum soon. :2thumbs:
