• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just bought a new 2023 Ryker Sport last week and learning my way around. I'm 74 and been riding bikes for right around 60 years.
I was always a Harley cruiser owner but also kept a sport bike or two in the barn for company, Ducati, Buells, XLCR, others were my constant companions.
Since developing neuropathy in the feet, legs, and hands, along with balance and back issues, etc, I just no longer can handle the big two wheelers. :(
As a retired fixed income person, the H-D Tri-Glides weren't in my budget.
Really hoping this cool new ride can keep me on the road for a few more years. We've had a few days of hard rain here so just logged in my first 200 miles on this bad boy.
Live To Ride, Ride To Live

Welcome aboard Sal :welcome:

I don't really think you'll miss the Tri-Glides all that much, and that you'll have a blast on that Ryker!! Even if you do still feel the need for something bigger after spending some time on a Ryker, most of the others who do that don't even dream of going back to the much less refined trikes like the Tri-Glides, but upgrade to an F3 or an RT instead - if you do go that way, bear in mind that the RT's will even keep a lot of the rain off you & a Pillion while you're riding, especially if you don't need to slow or stop for traffic, lights, etc! :2thumbs:

As for those annoying features of aging that make 2-wheels not so much fun, there's a lot of us here with similar concerns, but we aren't letting them slow us down any more than is strictly necessary - check out our 'Enabled SpyderLovers' board:

And the 'Unseen Disabilities' sticky at the top of that sub-forum!

Looking forward to seeing more of you out on the more frequented public pages of the Forum soon. Enjoy! :ohyea:
