• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Thank You

Thank you for allowing me to be part of the Spyder Lovers family, my title name can speak for its self, a nickname given to me during the years I was on the job. I had a 2011 Sypder RT limited and just traded it in for the 2021 Spyder 1330 RT limited Red with black rims and I love it more that my wife (did I say that out loud?) Here is my question on mt 2011 I judged my speed and shifting my a chart I found whereas you shift from 1 to 2 @ 22 mph crusing speed 30 mph, than @ 30 mph shifting to 3rd gear crusing speed 35 to 45 @ 45 you than shift to 4th gear crusing speed 45 to 65 all day never hitting 5th gear. My new 1330 series is a 6 speed and I cannot find a chart reflecting what I found with my 2011, now being math challgenged and not understanding RPM's I just find it easy to know when to shift I also drive a 69 VW bug and shift by ear my friend said to do the same however, if your in a bug you can hear it very easy no so on the motorcycle. HELP!!!!

Welcome to the forum Robocop. I hope you enjoy it. :congrats: On the new 2021 Spyder RTL. You can find lots of good information here on the Spyder RTL in the different areas of the forum. Make sure and post a photo of your new ride in the Spyder garage area of the forum when you can. The 2011 had the 998 v twin engine the new 2021 has the 1330 3 cylinder engine that Can Am has been using since 2014 and it has much low RPM than the older 998. You might try reading the Dos and Don'ts for new owner listed above for some good info on that. You can also repost your question in the Spyder RT area of the forum as soon as they finish processing you in to all the SpyderLovers systems ( you will see your name turn blue that is when you will be able to post in other areas.) I hope to see you around the forum soon.
