• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New guy

Hi all, been riding 2 wheels since 13, now at 70, I’m thinking 3 wheels would be safer for the Mrs. and me. I don’t know anything about spiders except that they look nicer than trikes.
I’ll look around and learn.

Welcome to the forum Myvalk. I hope you enjoy it. You can find lots of good information here on the different models of Spyders and Rykers in the different areas of the forum. Keep an eye on some local dealers for the Can Am Experience Event coming to the dealership. The is when they bring in some demo models to ride. You sign up and go ride a new model Spyder or Ryker if you wish and they (Can Am BRP Rep) will be on hand to with lots of stuff. Now ging from 2 wheels to 3 wheel is very different and will take some getting use to and relearning. Once you get it down pat (relearn) you will wish you had moved to the Spyder a long time ago. When you stop at a red light don't put your foot down to hold the bike up, just sit and relax the bike will hold you up while you wait. The relearn part is don't reach for the brake lever it's not there, only has a foot brake that works all 3 wheels ABS (and stop on a dime if you want). Also like all 3 wheelers you have to turn the handle bars when going through corners. Did I say stable yet wow it's all that and then some and takes corners with a grip you won't believe. You will just have to give your self some time to get use to; it is a transition form 2 wheels. Good luck with you research. I hope to see you around the forum soon.
