New, and yet, Not!

Eight years ago, I owned a 2010 RSS and really enjoyed modding it for the three-hour rides to work spring, summer, and winter... Then I sold it for the extra cash needed to take my wife to the Philippines for her 50th birthday.
Today I bought a 2013 RS after I promised my family and friends that I would stop riding two wheels after a near fatal write-off of an '08 Harley in June. (I'm feeling much better now).
I am having some real problems finding parts, both OEM and aftermarket, for Adriana Soria. (Queen of the Spiders in the Marvel Universe). Specifically, I need all the "Chrome" fillers in the right-hand side of the radiator faring. On the 2010 I also had a couple of small aerodynamic pieces on the side of the bike to keep the rain off my knees. If anyone has, or knows to get these items, please give me a message back. Heck, even if you don't, just give me a message back! :bowdown:

Hi Kevin, welcome aboard! Glad to hear that you're still around & with us after your incident in June.... cos if you weren't, and I'm really only imagining that you've joined and have posted here, then I'd really hafta start questioning the Dr's about some of my current Meds! :yikes:

But you'll probably continue to find parts for your 2013 RS hard to find - not only is it a now discontinued model, but it's also 10 years old and apparently BRP has decided that there's no value in supporting Spyders that old anymore!! So many with 10 year or older Spyders are having difficulties not only finding parts, but also finding any dealers who'll even look at them! :gaah:

Anyhow, there's not ever all that much activity in this section; only a few of us visit with any sort of regularity, so you're probably going to be better off posting up again in the more often visited sections of the Forum, where other Members & the public are more likely to see your post and any thread/response that develops from it. :thumbup:

However, you won't be able to do that until all your 'joining processing' is complete, which will be signified by your Username turning Blue, like SpyderBOT's. It shouldn't take too long (well, not unless you've really tried to hide your internet presence! ) it rarely takes more than a day; so I hope to see you out there on the more publicly frequented pages very soon! hyea:
