• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Thanks for letting me join.

I've owned a 2012 RSS since 2016 here in Norway and had lots of fun with it.

But back in 2018 I finally got my motorcycle license and have mostly driven a 600cc Yamaha on longer trips since then. I have however kept the RSS for fun around town and to be able to loan out to friends and family who don't have a motorcycle license so they could go with me on trips without riding pillion (Norwegian law = anyone with a driver's license for a car can ride 3-wheel motorcycles).

I've joined up mostly to find information and photos relating to replacing the paddle shifter, or more specific where the shifter's wiring is routed. Mine's been throwing the "Check gearbox" message occasionally for the past couple of years, and the error code I pulled says it's the shifter. I've had a new one laying around for a while and thought I'd finally get around to fixing the problem.

By the way, here's a photo of my RSS waiting for a ferry (which would take me across the fjord to the mountain range in the background for a drive through the deep valleys there).
