I would like to ask a question about the alternator charging ability. 2014 Spyder appx 30,000 miles. Hoe do I go about that. New member.
Welcome to the Forum & posting Joseph, good to see that you brought your own bat too!
Re your question, as Spyder BOT mentions in the sentence below all the links in the first post of this thread (& quoted below

) there's no point in asking questions in this section of the Forum, cos not too many people will get in here to see it or answer....
Welcome Joseph, ......
.....
Do NOT post support questions here, please post them in the appropriate forum once your account is approved.
So now that your username has turned
Blue to signify that all your registration processing has passed the initial pre-flight tests, you can now post out in the more frequented areas of the Forum. So you should navigate to the appropriate section & the sub-forum best suited to your specific Spyder model, an RT, and the type of info you want, ie, General riding type discussion, or maybe Shop Talk - check out all the sections & sub-forums available, & try to find the most appropriate place - in this case, I'd suggest the
RT Shop Talk sub-forum in Technical Support Section.

Open up that section & sub-forum so that you're at the top of the first page of the list of all the existing threads on that particular area, then it's time to do a bit of a
Search in there to see if there's anything already been posted about your concerns! The main
Search facility is on the RHS of the page, up towards to top, just under our Founder's Logo, Lamonster Garage; and below that
Search block is a tab for '
Advanced Search' too, plus there's a '
Search Forum' link in the RHS header bar of every sub-forum index page, so you can search
JUST that sub-forum without needing to go to
Advanced Search.
Try to be reasonably sure that your question hasn't already been asked & answered in an earlier thread &/or that it might not be better to ask for some clarification of a response in an earlier thread, cos we do try to keep '
like or related information' in the one place if we
can, but you do need to check the dates that any earlier thread was started, as well as how long ago the most recent posts were made - fairly
recently used threads might see posters responding to questions, altho since the Forum's been around for over 15 years now, delving into ancient threads can be a bit of an exercise in archeology.... Lots of great info there juuust awaiting your discovery, but any artifacts you may stumble across & any people/members you might see who've left their mark may not be around to respond anymore! :dontknow:
Orright.... after you've done some searching, found out whatever existing info on your problem that there may be, and
still have an/some unanswered question/s that won't be best answered by adding to/seeking clarification a recently used existing thread, you can look at starting a new thread! You can do this by clicking on the Red
+ Post New Thread button just above the top
LEFT of the list of threads in the particular sub-forum; and when you do that,
please do try to briefly ask your question in the Thread Title. You can expand on your question in the text of your opening post, but without briefly asking your question in the Thread Title, you'll probably miss out on inviting those most likely best suited to answer your question to come on in, have a read, see what you need sorted, and most importantly, post a helpful reply! Plus, you'll make it harder for anyone else searching for similar info to realise that's what your thread is all about, so please, do try to briefly ask your question in the Thread Title.

And of course, if you have any questions &/or concerns about any of this, you can always drop me or any of the other Moderators here a PM (by clicking on our username & then selecting 'Private Message' from the drop down list that'll appear.

) or by asking any Forum Support type questions in the Forum Support & Testing sub-Forum.
Looking forward to seeing you out there on the more frequented parts of the Forum soon!
