Quadriplegic wants to ride a spider!

Hello friends!!
I’ve been riding motorcycles, since I was three years old and when I was 23 years old, I dove in a lake and broke my neck.
Everything I’ve been doing these last 25 years has been to get back on my bike!
I know that the Can-Am Ryker is very well suited to people with lower hand function due to its automatic transmission, but does anybody have any information how somebody with very limited hand function can “shift“.
It’s much more of the shifting that is the issue for me. I have a lift that will get me on and off and a partner to join me.
Any information would be greatly appreciated!
If I can’t get a spider to do the job I am going to buy a Ryker rally in the coming months.
This is the summer to ride!

Welcome to the forum Hotwheels1974!!. I hope you enjoy it. You can find lots of good information here on the different models of Spyders and Rykers in the different areas of the forum. You should repost your question in the Spyder General Discussion area of the form when you can so more members will see it and maybe reply to your question. Look through the different areas of the forum like Enabled SpyderLovers area to see if anything there may help. Note that when shifting a Spyder it only takes a push of a button to shift up and the Spyder will shift down by itself. Good luck with your research, I hope to see you around the forum soon. :2thumbs:
