• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Spyder Rider

We each have 2-wheel m/c's in Iowa, but we are purchasing a 2016 Spyder RTS for our time in Florida. We're getting up in years a bit and had planned on a 3-wheeler regardless, but this one came up here in Florida and looks to be a good fit. We've each been riding for 50+ years, but this is a unique experience and we're looking forward to it. I'm a bit of a tinkerer, but don't have any particular plans for the RTS except enjoying riding it. And Florida gives us so many more months of good weather than we have in Iowa. Most likely we'll be selling our Honda and Suzuki and the Spyder will be our keeper from here on. Looking forward to riding 2-up for many more years.

Welcome to the forum EyeDoc. I hope you enjoy it. :congrats: On the new to you 2016 Spyder RTS. You can lots of good information here on the Spyder RTS in the different areas of the forum. Make sure and post a photo of your new ride in the Spyder Garage area of the forum when you get a chance to. Going form 2 wheels to 3 wheels will take some getting use too but once you get the hang of it you will love it and wish you had gotten a 3 a Spyder a long time ago. It will take time to learn the hand brake is not there. But it sure is nice when you come to a red light and you don't have to put your foot down to hold the bike up while waiting for the light to turn green. I hope to see you around the forum soon. :2thumbs:
