• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi from a new Spyder convert in PA!

Hi everyone! I'm from PA and bought my Can-Am Spyder F3-T new in 2023. I already have over 5300 miles on it!

Just a little background on me: I started out riding a Yamaha V-Star 600. Owned it for 2 months and upgraded to a brand new Kawasaki Vulcan 900. Kept that for about 6 months or so and sold it and bought a 2009 Harley Davidson Low Rider and had a lot of fun customizing it. Over the 4 years I owned my Harley, I put over 30,000 miles on it. In 2015, I bought a Polaris SlingShot and for the next 5 years, I customized it and put 39,000 miles on it. Now, I have my Spyder F3-T. I love it! I have already put the BajaRon Ultra Sway Bar on it and an Akrapovic Exhaust. I have my eye on the Elka shocks and I'm cooking up a new paint job! I'm honored to be a part of the forum and look forward to many enjoyable years riding my F3 and getting to know y'all!

Welcome aboard, Daughter! :welcome: And congrats on your Spyder too :congrats: even if they are a bit late!! Altho I guess they could be :congrats: for finding your way here too.

Looking forward to seeing more of you/your posts out in the more frequented public pages, but just a hint here - if you don't want to go out of your way and type in each post just to tell everyone what year/model Spyder you have - adding it to every post you make (it helps A LOT to let people know what you're riding &/or where your response is coming from... ;) ) it'll really pay you to add your Spyder's year/model to your Sig Line, so that it shows on every post you make - here's a link to the Sticky about that, IIRC post #4 has the 'step-by-step' process, but even if I'm wrong about which post # it's in, it's still plenty easy; and it's definitely in there somewhere! ;)

https://www.spyderlovers.com/forums...l-Add-your-Spyder-Year-model-to-your-Sig-Line!

You could also add an avatar pic to your user profile/username to the left of your posts; add a (small!) sig pic to your sig line; and maybe even add a Spyder Garage entry (which will show as a year/model link in your sig line too!) - SpyderBOT's post at the start of this thread has a link to the last of those; both of the others I can help you with if you want, just drop me a PM via the 'Send Private Message' link in the drop down list that'll show once you click on my username to the left of this post; then watch for the Notification link up toward the top right corner of the page to turn Red and start flashing to tell you that there's a reply in your Inbox.

Cheers!
