• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Thanks for the welcome.
Like most, I'm looking for advice. I'm 63, been riding motorcycles for 35 years. After a back operation 2 years ago, I'm finding it difficult to balance a heavy bike, and, although I ride a lighter bike now (Honda CBR500R) I don't have the strength to pick it up, and I've dropped it once already.

I'm warming up to the idea of a Spyder. I just have to warm up my bank account a bit more.

I'll be looking for a used Spyder. There seems to be a confusing number of models out there. I like a lean, mean, stripped down machine. I don't need a lot of storage, and I will rarely , if ever carry a passenger. What is the leanest, meanest model out there?
Thanks in advance!

:chat:.... Welcome to the Spyder Forum. A Ryker is a great starting point. Rykers are the most affordable with prices starting at $8999.00. The Spyder starts at 21,999.99.
That being said there are several good used ones posted on this Forum.

Check out on the 'For Sale' tab on this Forum.
Need some help just ask.

I looked at the stryker, but I don't like a CVT transmission in a motorcycle. In an ATV, sure. Seems like it just has too much RPM at highway speeds and no way to shift up.
Thanks for the input!
