• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. hey bob,,, how not to eat a hot pepper

Painful....

I can see it by accident but to do it on purpose...:yikes: Think he learned anything today..?? cause I have a few peppers that are way hotter than Habaneros....

It is amazing to me how knowing you are being videoed and you might get some hits on YouTube, can cause people to lose their minds.
It used to be if you did something stupid, only you and the friends that were present at the time knew about it. Now the entire world knows how stupid you are.

I gotta admit though, they sure make for fun watching!:clap::clap:

That was "Played-up" a bit for the video... :banghead:
But there US a truth in there: "Don't dance with the Devil; unless you know all of the right steps to take!" nojoke

:lecturef_smilie: Anything from a "Habbie" on up to the Reaper () can seriously hurt you!

 You REALLY don't want to put yourself in this situation... nojoke
I've seen videos, where some of these flamethrowers were given to unsuspecting kids! :yikes: :gaah::gaah:
:lecturef_smilie: Mot funny... :lecturef_smilie:
I eat them on a pretty regular basis: it takes a lot of exposure, to get used to what even a Habanero can do to you...
...And that's at only 500,000 Scoville units!
The Carolina Reaper at 2,200,000 Scoville units, is in a completely different Realm of pain!

If you eat any of those, make sure you have a way of washing your hands before you relieve yourself.
Reminds me of a friend showing off eating hot peppers when we were out camping, no place close to wash his hands, and he wasn't thinking.....:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

i used to love spicy food, but over the years i have lost my taste for it. if it is done right, and doesn't make me sweat, i enjoy it. but to eat something that will make me suffer, no thank you

Truthfully; the Habanero, Bhut Jolokia (The Ghost), Moruga Scorpion, and Carolina Reaper all have really nice, sweet flavors... nojoke
It's what happens AFTER the sweet stops, and the heat starts; that is unforgettable! :yikes:

I wonder if I could get the Jerky Hut, to ship an order or two of Teriyaki/Habanero beef sticks to Joe's Hotel at SpyderFest. They have perfected the ":Sweet Heat" taste, and are actually very good for folks that are "squeamish" about too much heat...
Do you think that they'd hold them there at the desk for me, if I ordered them before I left? I don't have a room number to put on the shipping address... :dontknow:

I was a hot pepper eater before I had weight loss surgery. Now it really hurts with anything hotter
then a stick of Big Red gum.nojoke.

If you felt as if hot peppers were something that you genuinely missed in your diet:
Try starting at the bottom, and work your way up...
Horseradish
Pepperoncini's
Jalapeno
Cayenne
Habanero
Ghost
Scorpion
Reaper

Start with REALLY small dosages in your food, and slowly build it up, until you feel secure enough to move to the next level.
Every day; I take in a serious dosage of cayenne pepper. nojoke
I can tackle a Habanero without much fuss, but anything more than that, and I KNOW that I'm in the deepest end of the pool...

When I was still working the guys at work would always bring in food for everyone and one day the told me they had deep fried cheese so I tried one
they all had a good time because it was not cheese inside it was habanero :yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes:
That was the first and only time I tried any of their food
I can not stand anything hot
They would sit around eating and turning blood red and sweating
How can you enjoy things like that
glad no one videoed it

Unfortunately, with a stomach slightly larger than a golf ball, anything spicy really burns and causes issues where I'm hugging the porcelain princess. It's been 8 yrs since my surgery, so I'm used to not eating spicy foods.

Yep. Well put. I'll consume those fireballs of heaven victoriously through you. Dam am I hungry.:bbq:

25+ years ago while I was auditing an Army ammo plant in Tennessee one of the guys gave me a piece of pepper, which I don't remember what kind. It was hot. :yikes: But he was kind and handed me a slice of apple and said to eat it. It was amazing how quickly apple quieted the burning from the pepper.
