• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

GLENDALE, Calif. (KABC) --
A driver who police say was driving recklessly was ejected onto a 5 Freeway sign near Glendale following a rollover crash Friday morning.

The fatal crash happened near Colorado Street around 7 a.m. when the 20-year-old victim was driving on the southbound side of the freeway at high speeds, hitting one vehicle with three passengers, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Authorities said the victim's Ford Focus rolled several times, and the driver was catapulted onto the sign. CHP said the victim was not wearing a seatbelt.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The people in the second vehicle were said to be OK.

Authorities were at the scene and lowered the body, covered in a white sheet.

The freeway was back open and cleared around 11 a.m. after lanes were shutdown for the investigation.

Thousands of motorists saw the disturbing sight as they drove by on the southbound 5 Freeway near the 134 Freeway split.

I can attest that seeing a person dead on the road is disturbing. In Louisiana one morning on my way to work I drove past a man sprawled out on his back in the shoulder area of the elevated I-10. He hadn't been covered yet. He was changing a tire on his car when the wind from a passing semi sucked him under and the trailer wheels rolled over him. You just never can know when your time is up, and it isn't always the result of being stupid, careless maybe, but not stupid.
