• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Here's why all the Back orders!

I had a long talk with cheap cycle parts yesterday while ordering a back up sprocket for my RT. It mainly centered around back orders, which he stated that my sprocket will also be on. It basically comes down to this. During the Covid pandemic both Can-Am manufacturing plants had to be shut down because of lack of personnel. However the distribution facility was able to stay open with a skeleton crew with social distancing. But the parts in that facility could only last so long, thus the back orders. No parts, no orders filled. He felt that both plants were back online and the orders would start flowing soon through the distribution center, however back orders would be the name of the game for a while. I guess like somebody on the forum once said, don’t buy anything made in 20 and 21. Hopefully there’s a light at the end of the tunnel.

This is going to suck, I just had an accident yesterday and I will be needing pretty much from the right A-arm to the right wheel for replacement... for a 2020 F3 ugh

:banghead: Sorry to hear that!!! Hope you made it threw it better than the bike??

I was thrown off and glad that I had a good helmet and safety gear. Back of my head and the whole right side of my body hit the curb. I just grazed the wheel on the curb dodging a lane drifter but it was enough to lock it up and bend the wheel back.

No road rash but but my shoulder is bruised up I think I may have a couple of cracked ribs as it hurts to breath deeply and my right hip and thigh are bulged out and sore.

If it bent the wheel back, chances are the frame may also be damaged. Look closely at a arm mounting areas.

Yep did that before the tow truck took it , Part # 30 on the can am electronic parts manual is definitely bent- right lateral at least that is only $289 hopefully it is not also part # 10 which was about $1200 if I remember correctly.

:cus::banghead: Glad your basically ok. Hope they got the other guy! :lecturef_smilie: Tom :spyder:

hope you got checked out medically. fractured ribs can puncture a lung if you get paradoxical movement. Also a bulging hip is a sign of a dislocation or a fracture. If you have lost the use of your spyder and the ins. won't give you a rental allowance then demand loss of use for the same amount a rental would cost while your bike is repaired. Heal fast hope all that happened to you was bruising.

The dealership I bought my 2019 F3-S from sent me a letter recently wanting to make an offer to buy it back or take it back on trade in. I threw the letter in the trash. They had a whole list of late models on the letter they are wanting. My guess is they are not wanting them bad enough to pay much for them.
