• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Here's the word on Spyder RT Radio Outputs direct from The Manufacturer!

Good morning folks!

I have been trying to determine how best to upgrade the speakers on my 2011 998 V-Twin engined RT. I searched high and low through all the forums for the radio outputs and couldn’t find them. I finally went ahead and emailed the manufacturer and below is the response I received from www.radiosound.com. I’m leaving this here for others to find if they ever need it one day. That’s all!

“The power output for the Can Am radio modules is 25/w per channel at 4 ohms. You can use just about any speaker as long as it has an impedance of 4 ohms or greater.
Hope that helps some!”

Salute!

I would also suggest looking for "marine" speakers, which are designed for exposure to the elements.
Speakers for a car or truck are not designed to be rained on.
