• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

HERE'S A THOUGHT

For parts and/or accessory delivery, BRP could team up with Amazon as a third party vendor. Amazon would then warehouse the parts, etc. in their many fulfillment centers, and when ordered, the order would be FBA - Fulfilled By Amazon. Amazon Prime members would get FREE 2 day delivery. It would be a win for BRP - no one bashing them for their horrendous delivery stream, and a win for us, the consumer. Just think, no more waiting two weeks for an "engine removal tool". Comments?

Great Idea....

would be great for the consumer but you need to add the dealer who is doing the warranty work...they hold things up as well. cheapcycleparts.com does a good job to a consumer but amazon would kill them.... and Mike's place of choice Procaliber......:sour:

given that Amazon stocks and sells thousands of items which sell in the hundreds daily or weekly so stocking is warranted. Does it make sense for them to stock items which would sell at the rate of 2 or three per week or month?
Heck, dealers don't even stock most parts because they don't sell frequently enough to tie up money by putting them on the shelf.
