I brought my Sea to Sky to the dealer this morning saying that my audio cuts in and out and then out completely. I only use the radio for FM music. Would you believe that when I arrived at the dealer the radio was working. When I left the the dealership it was working all the way home. I headed down to Long Beach Island and spent 3 hours riding and no audio. The dealer told me that it takes a good bit of time to remove lots of parts to get to the audio amplifier. He did say they already had a couple of bikes with the same problem and they replaced the amplifier. However, I don't want to leave the cycle sitting there for weeks and then when they finally check it out and order the parts, who the hell knows how long that will take, knowing BPR's reputation for delivery of parts.
I am waiting for a return call from service to see if he will order the amplifier and when it comes in he can set up a day for replacing it, instead of my bike sitting there for weeks.
Any Spyderites have any thoughts on this ???
