• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi everyone, I'm a new member. I have a question, I bought the 6 spoke wheels when I got my Spyder, now I am trying to get the wheel trim kit. I was told that they were discontinued by can am. Is that true?

Yes. You might try eBay, though.

any reason that they were? maybe damaging the tire? hate to track something down if its going to do harm, ya know.

welcome Trim ring is an over priced cheap peice of plastic . Sometimes pops up on E-bay or some dealers still have them in stock.

Yeah, you would think for that price they would be metal. I just talked to a Rep. @ BRP and confirmed that they were recalled for not seating to the wheel tight enough. I found a shop out in CA that has a set but wondering if its worth getting them now after finding that out. Might just leave that 1 alone, and move onto the next mod.

My dealer still had sets of them for sale as of last week - saw them hanging there.

They are really cheaply made and look cheap - I wouldn't bother - they will only make your nice new rims look cheap.

The Spyder I test rode in the Spring of 07 had the wheel trim things on it. They were all cracked and had pieces broken off of them. Would not advise putting them on your machine. Just my opinion, of course.
