• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A friend , Hit me with this puzzle; But didn't give me the answer!

You saw a shirt for 97$, You don't have the cash so you borrowed 50$ from your Mom and 50$ from
your Dad =100$., You buy the shirt and have 3$ change, You give your Dad 1$, and you give your Mom
1$, And keep the other 1$ for yourself., Now you owe your Mom 49$ and your Dad 49$ = 98$ + your 1$
= 99$ Where is the missing 1$, ???

Your not missing a dollar.....If you gave mom/dad a dollar each= $2 dollars total, then gave each $49=$98. 98+2=100

the shirt is $97, minus the $1 you made= $96 for the shirt. Add $1 for mom and dad= $98 for the shirt

Mix in facts and provide information that have nothing to do with the question being asked and then base your answer on that mis-information. Your friend is either a reporter or a politician. If he is the second one, I'd check his pocket for the missing dollar.

1. You borrowed $100 - You spent 97 on the shirt + 2 on your mom and dad + 1 you still have = 100
2. You Borrowed $100 - You paid 2 back so now you borrowed 98. You spend 97 on the shirt and have one in your pocket = $98

I run into the same issues with my accounting tests. Math seems to be everyone's enemy these days. If they forget to bring their calculator or phone to help them compute the answers, they are pretty much in trouble.

imy solution to this problem took place thirty one years ago!

i married a math teacher so she could answer these questions while i sit around and drink beer! Problem solved!

You must work for the government. You borrowed $100, paid back $2 and kept the rest that you SUPPOSEDLY spent on a shirt that no one has seen. Just lie the money the government spent on the FAKE moon landings!:lecturef_smilie:

You started out with no money and no shirt. Now you have a $97 shirt and you owe your Mom $49 and your Dad $49 = $98 debt. Subtract the $1 you have (asset). That leaves $97, the value of the shirt.
