Help with audio on track 2016

Looking for some help here. I have a lighting cable that runs from the trunk to the windshield that I plug into my iPhone. It plays the music gps. Etc thru the sound system and has worked for a couple of years. Now it won’t play anything when the bike is started. the screen on the bike says no usb device. However when the bike is just turned on it works fine. Any help from the forum. Thanks.

Has either the bike or iPhone has been updated or the USB cable that you plug the lightning cable into has been unplugged. (disconnected somewhere in the bike) Does the phone still get power? are there two USB ports? if so can you plug into either one and it worked or are you plugging into the other one that doesn't work and having this problem?
