• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

do you have the spyder codes app on your phone, Roger has dealers and spyder ryders to the rescue on there that may help. Good to have when your on the open road....:thumbup:Tom and Pam in Ponca City can help with lodging etc but recommend the dealer in Jones , Wichita and Tulsa but all 100 miles from you. Their phone is 580-765-6262 or 580-761-0486....

At Work. Poor Internet at lunch time.

Hey Bob, I went to the BRP website search also and the little spinning button just kept on turning and wouldn't connect. Guess its cause your closer to Canada, than me. :roflblack:

Anyway next was the internet search, and mapquest. Just took me a little longer.

Patti got towed to the dealer and the ECU was the problem, she rented a car to get home and will pick her bike up in a couple of days, she is safe and headed home

I'm on the way home & stopped for lunch/supper. Thanks, Joe, for posting the update.

The svc mgr plugged it into buds while it was still on the trailer. Then went inside & forgot the codes. So he wrote a work order that says "unit had codes for air intake system and ecu shut down." So I don't know if the problem has really been found. But I'm on my way home & will go back for it when it's ready.

Thanks to all for you help & well wishes.

I called the Stillwater dealer today to see what the prognosis is for my Spyder. They plan to get it in for diagnosis today or tomorrow at the latest. Then they'll know if they have to order parts. So I called the rental car agency to keep the rental for longer than planned.

It seems like it'd be more efficient to diagnose right away and order parts, if necessary. Then it'll be ready to work on when other projects are done. But as it is, they wait to diagnose, then wait for parts, then finally get around to solving the problem.:gaah:
