Help please - battery flat, recharged, still won't work properly!?!

working on wifes 15 rts last night came in this morning battery dead charged up during charge radio came on gauges light up switch lights on and spyder on screen turn key on screen comes right up no mode buttton pushed starts started put in gear backed off ramps engine lighy on set brake shut off same lights and things on disconected battery no change radio comes on and lights on gauges restart wont go in gear light on dash flas orange with gear symbol what is going on dealer closed monday supposed to leave tuesday for maggie valley

i don't know if this will help... but your problem sounds like the 1 i had on my F3....
my dealer changed the battery... NOTHING.... changed the alternator... NOTHING...
finally they found that a small aluminum ground wire had corroded and they replaced it with a MUCKA automotive COPPER ground wire... that was back in June, and no problems since...

The orange gear light on dash points to a gear position sensor. There should be a code too look up how to find codes per her model doubt you can do much without dealer :dontknow: Sorry

Punctuation would really make this easier to read and understand.
Are you sure the battery is fully charged? It's always a good idea to go back to the last thing you did and double check that. I'd start by disconnecting the lights you installed and fully charging the battery. If you have a volt meter check the battery voltage. If you disconnected any grounds or hot leads double check those. Good luck.

mmmmm not an expert here , but could it be the wiring in the light them selfs ? the wiring harness ,is a bit touchy on new stuff being added ... hope any information will help , hope you get on road for the trip
