Help Needed!!!

Just purchased the Spyder 4.5" Riser kit and hooked everything back up and ready to go. When I turn the key over to start, the instument panel lights up like normal but when I push the starter, all I get is a humming sound and will not turn over. Any thoughts where I can start to fix my problem. Please refrain from any funny comments or sarcastic remarks....Lol!:gaah:Spyder 4.5 inch Riser Kit

Am I correct in assuming that you're also hitting the "Mode" button before thumbing the starter?

Well since I'm really far from the best wrench in the toolbox at these kind of things; I'd have to simply suggest working backards through your installation to see if something is pinched, shorted, or simply loose... (Sorry!) pps:
