• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Help me! Passenger Arm Rests

Missus wants arm rests. Saw Show Chrome and Rivco. Show Chrome look higher and Rivco says they are adjustable but doesn't say how (up and down or front/back). My wife is 5'2" and has short arms... the grab rails are a stretch and thus uncomfortable. Are there any other options and do you own one of the two or one of the others that may be out there you would like to comment on; particularly if your missus is a shorty. THanks! wg

I have the Diamond R armrests, and my wife seems to really like them. They have some up and down adjustment ( not a lot, but some) . My wife is 5' and has never had anything but praise for them. There are also many good options out there. Good luck.

I have Diamond R Accessories too! All my passengers like them very much. And when you're riding by yourself they fold in. No additional drilling needed, the bracket mounts under the seat. Customer service is excellent!!!

Diamond R for me

Keep in mind that my wife is a shrimp! All your passengers may love them but are they 5'2" with short arms? Don't want her elbows around her ears hehe... The PICS make the Rivco look the lowest and Rivco is supposed to be adjustable. Any pics of a passenger with both Diamond R and the pics of the Rivco... hopefully a SHORT passenger? These things cost too much to make a mistake.

My wife is vertically challenged, also. We have Corbin and she loves them. Hope this helps.

Chris, there is a set of matching Corbin armrests and backrest on eBay for $700 or so. Out of my league! There is a set of brown armrests only for between $500-600. OUCH.

Kind of odd...I was looking at Corbin armrests, new from Corbin had them in the cart for $343.

Arm rests

Just finished installing Corbin passenger arm rests our new 2015 RTS. We looked at all the ones at Spyderfest and ended up liking the Corbin's the best. Will see if there are still smyles after myles. My wife is also 5' 2".

Look for yourself! Google corbin & armrests and you will also see the $700 plus backrest with the same armrests.
Guess it must be special internet pricing! wg

Sir I don't doubt you one bit...for me, I have been looking to maybe buy a trials motorcycle. There are some folks that consider all they have is gold and we should pay their price. As for the trials bikes, there are a lot of bikes from the 1970's, yes old trials bikes selling used for equal or more than modern used bikes.

The old machines are likely three to five times more than when new. And no one is buying them.

Guess I just did not want to see someone spend that much for Corbin armrests when I had just been pricing them myself.

All the best with it.

Need to make an adjustment to the posts...this link is not for armrests. It is for armrests AND cupholder. That is more than the $343 for armrests alone. The armrests and cupholder on Corbins site is $516. The Ebay item is Buy It Now for $516, unless there is something special this is simply retail rice.

No real deal.

Rivco ... perfect height and they will swing out of the way if needed. Can easily match your stock BRP seat or if you go full custom from Ultimate Seats, they can match that as well.

My wife is 5' 3" and we have the Corbin's, she tried the Ricvo and Diamond R but liked the comfort of the Corbin's. I also like the look of the Corbin's on the Spyder over the other brands.

Ended up buying Diamond R powdercoat black last evening. Thanks to all who responded. Seems like there wasn't really any wrong choices. The Diamond R bolt to frame under the seat and don't require drilling the body.
