• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

HELP LEAKING ANTIFREEZE

Make that two of us. There was a bit of discussion about this in a few very long gasoline octane posts and I thought the concensus was that the Spyder did not have a knock sensor.

I will look thru the manual tonite when I get home.

If the Spyder does have a knock sensor why wasn't it covered under warranty:dontknow:
Either way, it sounds like you have yourself a stealership and need to find a dealership. Good Luck. Ryde Safe and Enjoy:thumbup:

Hello guys !!
I also found some coolant on the floor and after taking off
all the right hand side panels I didscovered that the leak
comes from the water pump housing. I checked the tightness
of bolts and the one that is next to the leak was not fully tight.
any one has had the same experience ???Thanks.
Yes, mine just started leaking and sure enough the clamp bolt was not tight at all! Everyone should take a minute and check their clamp. It just might prevent a problem down the road.

I noticed the leak from it just sitting in the garage with the occasional start up during the winter months to make sure it would still run. I took it for a 2 mile ride today after fixing the clamp and adding some antifreeze that had leaked out. It won't be long now and I will be using it to commute to work!
