• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Help Identifying a Wire

Clinty76

New member
I just replaced my battery on my 2011 RTS SE5. I found this wire which has no place to go and I want to make sure I'm not missing something. It's located under the seat next to the battery.

Is this for a trailer or should this be plugged in. I don't want the bike to explode when I try and start it.:yikes:

Thanks for your help.

I cannot tell you the use for that particular wire, but I do know there are several unused connectors in that area for use with optional equipment, such as the trailer wiring harness, entertainment harness for use with the CB/Intercom system, XM radio, etc.
