Help - How do I Remove Back Cover of Mirror

Bought new Muth Signal Mirror inserts to replace the Rt-s Mirror inserts but cannot find all of the engagement tabs on the RT-S mirror to remove the back cover of the mirror housing. I Was able to remove the RT-S mirror without any problems but couldn't figure out how to remove the back of the mirror. Any ideas? :helpsmilie:

Wow! We had a thread in here where that process was described. :shocked:
It was in a discussion about adding additional turnsignal indicator lighting... Folks were looking for the best way to take the mirror housing apart in order to hide the wiring.
Why not take the "Search" feature for a cruise through those threads?

Hopefully what I'm about to post is possibly the answer. To expand a bit on what Bob said above (not your quote above, but his response), you may want to put in "turn signal brightness" in the search function above, and read that thread.

I have though copied and will paste what I think was the answer in that particular thread. Hopefully this will help.

The pictures where spot on and we now have the mirrors apart.:2thumbs: I did try searching the site before I asked for help and I guess I didn't put in the right key words since I didn't get any returns back from the searches I did.
