• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The spyder is a 2012 limited, new, they trailered it to this area and had only a mile or two on it. It has the check engine light on, I pulled up the codes for him and it is showing P0504. He said he checked the oil as it was leaking under the bike and the oil was overfilled by over 1 liter. He pulled that out but the light is still on (limp mode as well). His name is Jerry and I told him about Spyderlovers, he may try to log on from his smart phone. I thought I would try and help so reply and I will get the message to him.
thank you for your replys.

Can't get much better help than that, direct line to Lamont.

Does that come with a yearly subscription???

P0504 is Brake Signal Not Plausible. That means the brake pedal was pushed but no pressure was sensed. My guess is he is riding the brake pedal.

Thanks for the info. I will email him and hopefully that's all it is. As he is a new rider, I bet that is it.

Common problem. Even when riders barely contact the pedal it can happen. Since last year's update, it no longer triggers limp mode, but it will trigger a check engine warning.
