• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Help Find a SpyderLovers Lost Dog

Story and SpyderQuest

Late to this story, but...you are in Texas....and went to New York where the dog was lost and now found?

I don't know where this spyderquest thing you speak of is.

Yes, I live in Texas but no, I didn't go to SpyderQuest. Nicole (kawakii) is a friend and fellow Girls on Spyders member -- it was Jake (husband) and Nicole that went to SpyderQuest in Lake George, NY and got called home early when their dogs went missing. The effort to find little Bella was monumental and social media definitely played a huge role in getting the word out. In the end, Granite State Dog Rescue, a bunch of volunteers, the Auburn Police and Fire Departments, all played a role in bringing Bella to safety. Reading some of the news coverage (yes, local TV did a couple of feature stories), it sounds like the final rescue involved the Fire Department and their thermal imaging cameras to locate and help volunteers "herd" Bella towards people she knew and they were able to capture her.:yes:

I was just using SpyderLovers as yet another way to get the word out about Bella, Nicole had FB covered but had not thought about posting here (so I did for her).

Best Regards ..... Ann
