• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How should I measure my windshield to my face? Should the height be top of my nose if measured horizontally from the top of the windshield?

I read it is best for the top of the windshield (for touring) should be right at the tip of my nose. Mine only comes up to at my chin...so, upgrading mine sounds like it will be the best thing.

So far these seem like the way to go: http://www.calsci.com/motorcycleinfo/SpyderSTprod.html

Any suggestions on which one? Options options options...

Windshield winner is??

Ok...it seems Cal-Sci and BRP seems to have options for me, but I would like to see what others here have to say about pros/cons of the two...and feel free to post your own suggestions. I've read the other threads (old ones) but it seems there is a huge line drawn in the sand on opinions.

For my ST-S, these seem to be the only two options I have. My current shield only comes up to my chin. I have to do something or my first road trip is going to PMOIMO...:banghead:

It seems some people noticed this shield dropping down when hitting bumps and it seems you need a "kit" BRP recommends, but I don't know what it is for...

I was thinking a large in either wide or regular width...dunno. I heard someone state looking through these is not as clear as the stock or BRP.
