• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Help - Corbin Smugglers Trunk

I just got finished installing the first set of Corbin saddlebags and Smugglers trunk on my Spyder but now I get a "defective seat sensor" warning because the smugglers trunk does not have a sensor. How to I get ride of this error or do I just ignore it?
Its the little things that drive me nuts!

I would like to gets the bugs all worked out before moving on to the wife's Spyder. Thanks in advance for any help.

If Corbin didn't provide a place to mount the rear seat sensor, just remove it from the stock seat and place it anywhere it fits yet can still be plugged in. It doesn't want to be compressed (ECU will think you have a passenger), so make sure it is hidden where it won't accidently be pushed down.

That makes it difficult to pop off the trunk and pop the seat back on unless I purchase a second sensor. You would think there would be a way to tell the Spyder that the seat has been removed.

Per the Corbin instructions, you are supposed to leave the seat sensor hooked up and tuck it under the rear tail piece. So switching from Smuggler to the seat will require transferring the sensor from the seat.
