• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

HELP!!! Bolt Broke!!!

The Saga is over. Everything is ready to go and it ran me a cool $615...That was after he cut the labor rate down to 85 instead of 100. Too bad its rainy today...

WoW! Thats an expensive lesson to learn

nojokeBut at least its over now:bowdown: and hopefully the weather clears soon & you can get some much needed Spyder therapy :clap::2thumbs:

$615 to remove a broken bolt!? That's just sickening.

I wouldn't let a dealer within 100 feet of my Spyder if it was off warranty if there was any way in Hades I could fix it myself. nojoke

I agree but we all have our "comfort" levels.

Hindsight is great isn't it ArmySpyder....................but that was one expensive oil change in the end!:banghead: and also a big:roflblack: cause thats all you can do now! Glad she is home, safe and sound and ready to go for you!

I deleted my post because it was a gut reaction and I didn't want to make him feel worse. Look, we've all made expensive mistakes, that's just the way it is. You win some you loose some. Life goes on.

Yeh it sucks, but, Im not a spyder tech, theres only some many people around who you could probably trust to "figure it out", and then chances are they would screw it up. The biggest issue with the bolt was its location. To get a remotely straight shot you have to remove all kinds of stuff. I installed my powercommander v and exhaust all by myself with no issues. So, I guess 2 out of three aint bad lol.
