Help.. 2015 Rt purchasing

Hello.. I’m looking at purchasing an used spyder Rt year 2015
Has 89900 km on it
Clean , dealer did the timely maintenance on it..
He is selling cause he bought new one..
I was told not to purchase a rt this old.. too many issues??
Any thoughts on this?
The asking price is 18000

You will get answers on both sides … some will say buy and some will not.

When I buy used - I get the best I can find within my budget.

Hi Sue!
2015 does not necessarily mean it has lots of issues.
If dealer can supply workshop history on what has been done on the RT and confirm it, I would not be too worried.
People buy newer bikes/cars and have issues on those as well.
My RT is a 2012 and it is still running great.
About the $18000 asking price I cannot comment, everything with a motor is more expensive over here.

Hey Sue. So, that's just under 56,000 miles. Not bad.

But is that asking price 18000 Canadian or US?

I think that's about 60,000 mi. .... and I wouldn't be concerned about that ..... I do think that's a high price for a 2015 RT ..... Mike :thumbup:

From the online shopping I did recently, prices in Quebec are much higher than elsewhere in Canada and especially in the west -- but if you're in Quebec that seems to be a fair price for a 2015 RT with that many km. The three 2015s I'd thought as prospective were asking $24-25000 and ranged between 20-30000km.

Agree with Mike that the price is too high for one with that mileage. Look at the ones for sale on this forum. Look at the ones on Facebook marketplace.

Don't know about pricing differences between countries but I paid 14k for my 2015 w/ 6800 mi in 2020.

That's about $13,300 in US dollars. That's not an outrageous price. Especially for Canada.
