• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Helmet Style

Arai Signet Q, because I have a long oval head shape.

I'd dearly like to find something that offers more breathability, perhaps a 3/4 helmet like an Arai CT-Z or Shoei J-Cruise, but I can't find any to look at (also, see: long oval head shape). As a compromise, my next helmet will likely be a Shoei Neotec.

Currently in rotation on my helmet shelf:

The Bell Qualifier DLX is my go to helmet, with the Suomys as backup, the Fly Trekker is my dual sport lid, though I have on occasion worn both yellow helmets on the yellow Spyder.

Schoei RF-1200 full face here but I'm considering adding a 3/4 or 1/2 helmet to the collection for times when I'm just zipping around town running errands. The bike is great for those "gotta run to the supermarket for a quart of milk" errands. Enforces discipline when you know you have no way to get that case of 32 rolls of toilet paper home.:roflblack:
Wrong, have gotten pack of 45 rolls on back seat with no problem, and 4 paper bags of groceries !

helmet

My wife and I wear Scorpion EXO 250s. 3/4s with sun visor and clear over-visor. My wife can't stand a full face, too confining.

I wear a white HJC IS MAX II, a modular helmet with a built in retractable sun shield. Very comfortable and fits me extremely well. Wife wears a 3/4 white HJC. She tried a modular like mine but was too confining (claustrophobic).

I started out with a 1/2 helmet until I came to my senses..........one of those half helmets only protects your head half a$$.
