There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

That thing is ridiculously cheap. Makes one wonder what the expensive ones have that make up for such a price difference.

You pay for the name I have had no issues in 6mo. Yes it comes from "over there" but what doesn't these days. I can buy a lot of them if it ever dies before I hit the price of a Sena or Scala. I have no desire to run anything from the Spyder sound system it is all in my pocket. :thumbup: I have said it before I am a value shopper and do not need top of the line (unless I get it cheap) I have 4 sets of Can Am riding gear and 2 sets of First Gear mesh and I have a little over $600 invested in that. Only the First Gear was lightly used everything else was new with tags. Why spend more than you have to?
Have you tried to pair it with any of the other name brand headsets out there?
The main reason we run Sena is because everyone we ride with runs Sena so it makes it easy to pair them for a ride.

No I haven't tried that and that set only allows 3 different sets to pair. The 1000M one allows 5 sets. I have never used any thing but my hands when riding with groups and see no big reason to listen to a bunch of chatter. I like my music and my wife can talk to me and that is all I need.:thumbup:

We also use Sena SMH10 units and yes they are Great!!... Free software update allows (3) phone numbers for speed dialing, music sharing also allows partner to hear / control your music files..
I can end intercom with friends and return to streaming music..
I'm considering upgrading to the earbud helmet mount when riding long distance with 2wheelers...

Mine only allows last number redial and my partner would rather listen to her own music and does. :thumbup: She has her choice of pairing to my phone or hers. And the charge lasts all day too. I guess it all boils down to do you like Smucker's strawberry preserves or is generic good enough. They both taste pretty much the same to me.
