There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

my wife & i got sena 10 so we can do that & i love the blue tooth for the phone.

If you decide to buy Sena products I would suggest you consider purchasing them from Motorcycle Dave's, a forum sponsor. Though we've not bought from him yet, we no doubt will eventually. Members of the forum agree he has the excellent prices and outstanding customer service.
Over the years we've had both Scala Rider and Sena and we favor Sena. We currently have a pair of Sena 10S and 20S and communicators and are very pleased with their capabilities and performance. We tend not to ride in large groups so being able to connect to half the county population is not important to us. But we do really appreciate Bluetooth GPS and phone pairing, and FM radio. I also enjoy the voice command feature (simple mind, simple pleasures?). Our two cents on the subject.
