• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

If you hate using your frunk to hold your helmets I used stainless chain with a threaded link and bolted the chain down to a existing bolt under seat.

Problem solved..!!

nicely done. Simple and all readily available parts. Thanks for posting the visuals...:2thumbs::clap:

I made this from 3/32" cable and shrink wrap tubing. Loop it through the D-ring and hook it on the helmet hook under the RT seat. It's for use on tour when all storage space is filled. Helmet strap is too short for D-ring on my helmet to fit alone on hook. I will use a piece of chamois or felt to protect Tupperware paint job.

I did the same thing but coated the whole thing in Dip-it.

HELMET HOLDER

Here is what I did. I bought a bicycle combination lock at Walmart. I keep it on my passenger handgrip when not in use. When locking my helmet, I wrap it thru the handlebar so that my helmet will sit on my seat. Keeps anyone from dropping anything in the helmet and keeps Looky Loos off my seat!!DSCF0643.jpgDSCF0644.jpg

Very clever thinking. There are available locks of smaller gauge coated cable similar to yours. Bummer for me is no hole in the RT bars. May have to go looking for one of the lighter gauge locks for when the bride comes out of winter hibernation. Could use her hand grip as anchor point. Would look much more professional than my cobb job too.
