There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Terrific riding area - go through John Day to Sumpter, and on to Baker City, and you won't want to go home.... Just not interested in investing the time & $$ to see a bunch of Harleys...
I'll be running through that area, at least twice this summer - I go to Boise and Price at least once each summer and never use 84 on a bike. Too much great riding that I'd miss..

I5-234-62-140-205-395-26-7-86-NF39-3 to Lewiston. This is some of the best scenery and MC roads the west has to offer. You get to dodge wild donkeys, Elk, and see high desert to high mountain passes.
Stop in Denio Junction (Welcome Motorcycles), Frenchglen for a meal (the hotel is really all that's there), and in Sumpter to ride the train and see the dredge… send me a PM & I'll send a link for some pics.
