• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi!

I wanted to introduce myself. I'm new to riding and Spyders; live right outside of Lancaster, PA and was born and raised in SC (proud of my Southern heritage).

I purchased my 2009 Spyder RS SE5 on Saturday and took my first "supervised" ride on Monday evening with my husband. I am hooked! Love, love, love it! I tried the two wheel thing and it wasn't for me. The clutch and two brakes was too much for me to handle. I got on my Spyder and zoom, zoom....off I went. It was so much fun! :2thumbs:

These forums are great; so much useful information here, especially the "Do's and Don'ts" portion.

Looking forward to meeting some :spyder: riders near me.

Welcome. I had to leave my HD for a can-am because I couldn't handle the HD. This was the best move I ever made. I am on my third can-am. This forum is a very valuable tool for all spyder riders. I rely on it daily. Good info and asgood people. I ride a 2014 RT-S se6. black in color.

Important New Rider Warning for the day:

Short trips that once took just a few minutes, and usually registered a mile or two on your odometer may mysteriously take up the better part of a day and require filling up your gas tank when complete.
