• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I realized I just posted a question & I have been a member here since 2008! I guess you could say I have been "lurking" in the shadows for awhile. Well onto my into...
My name is Brad & I live in Palm Harbor, FL (Tampa Bay area) with my wife of 15 years & our 11 year old son. I took my motorcycle class 2 years ago & have been undecided on what bike to get. I have never owned a bike, but have always wanted too. I was either too young & living at home (in mother's voice) "When you move out, you can ride whatever you want" or I was living in a not so safe place to ride (NYC). Well now at 38 years old the time has come! When I took the riding class the biggest concern for my son was that on a standard motorcycle I could fall down just like he did numerous times when he was learning to ride his bicycle. For some reason he was concerned about this & didn't feel comfortable with me getting a motorcycle. To be honest with you guys I also was not feeling confident with only having that skinny tire in front of me. I was worried in a turn if I slid in sand, had a flat tire, ran over something...So I waited to buy something, until now...
When the Can-Am was going through the testing BRP had a ride event in the area. When I saw that weird machine I was hooked. My son said to me "That is the bike you should get Dad". My wife said once my car was paid off we could afford it. I have been a patient man & the time has arrived. I look forward to riding & meeting with you all. And I promise to get rid of my creepy avatar!
PS. I hope I posted in the correct forum
