• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hello! New Spyder owner here!

a little safe riding tip always leave a way out have an escape route and enjoy your bike I am or I will as soon as the weather co-operates in Ontario the spyder is different from two wheels but a lot of fun

Welcome to the Zoo

:congrats::welcome:

Please read the owners manual { twice isn't a bad idea ]. Also, when turning, like skiing, press on the outside foot peg and bend your inside elbow ( lowering your center of gravity a few inches).Congratulations.

Welcome welcome....

To both the spyder world and this awesome site. Congratulations on your choice :2thumbs: a few more miles and you will see you did not lose your mind...:lecturef_smilie:

I'm pretty sure I have lost my mind. I've never driven anything but a car but the BF loves his motorcycle. I went out yesterday and bought a brand new 2016 Spyder Touring Limited. I think that's what you call it anyway. I'm going to go on Monday to get a permit but I was able to drive it around the parking lot at the dealership and loved it! So I've got lots to learn but I'm really excited to be doing this.

WELCOME! Newbie here as well but you've come to the right place to learn everything about your new "RYDE." If you think you've got "Spyder Fever" now, oh honey......just you wait!

:welcome: & :congrats: and glad you could join us. We are here to help, ask questions.

Congratulations and welcome. I to am new to this although I spent 40 years on two wheels but NEVER on three. Something that helped me a lot was I went up to the local high school parking lot on a Saturday and rode for about 1 1/2 hours. I'm sure the neighbors where wondering what this nut job was doing but it really helped. I did lots of figure eights and just made lots of turns. I still am having trouble not leaning in curves but hopefully that will get better. Good luck and have fun. I can also tell you the people on this site are very helpful. Let the Farkling begin!

New owner in Ohio

Awesome looking ride. If we could get some of the other central ohio riders out for ride that would be cool. I ride around the columbus area and have only seen a few spyders around. If we could now get a few other riders out to go on a ride. My wife are out all the time. Any other riders want to get together, post on here.

Welcome to the Spyder world! I agree and 2nd what they've all said already. I have had my Spyder for only 6 months and my face hurts from smiling so much when I'm out riding....

+1

:riding: I never rode a 2-wheel before buying my first Spyder. It changed my life. Love every minute I am riding. Love meeting new people. Enjoy

+1 to this comment.
Never rode a 2-wheel myself either. But the 3-month layer of dust on my car is now starting to get thicker. ;)

New Owner

My wife had never ridden a two wheeler besides behind me and after she bought her First Spyder she put over 25,000 miles on it the first year, at 65 years old she said it made you feel alive again!
And she had a new reason to go shopping for new clothes and accessories !
