Hello... new 2012 RT limited owner

[Questions]

Nice site.
Just picked up a 2012 Lava RT Limited for my wife. She wanted a Goldwing trike but I feel the Spyder is safer. 250 miles so far. Had the DPS error on Thursday and Friday. Went away after a stop and restart. Dealers thinks I was riding the brake! Hope this does not keep happening.

I had exactly the same start with the DPS or what ever it is. That was 13,000 miles ago in August last year. Haven't had one since. I guess it was my foot. Hard to believe I'd make a mistake, but my wife has a different opinion!! :banghead:

I agree that the spyder is safer with the 2 wheels in front .

But we all know anything Honda runs forever With few if any issues .

What do you ride if the spyder is for the wife ?

:congrats::2thumbs:To both your wife.Honda is a great bike BUT the physics of two wheels i front makes soooo much more sense than in the rear. I really can't understand why Honda and the other trikes don't get it. I'm on my 2nd Spyder, now owing an RT SE5. I absolutely love it and haven't had a speck of trouble with it. I just rode 2,700 hard miles from Oregon to SpiderFest ane it ran like a Swiss watch:bowdown:. Enjoy it and..........
