• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hello from South Africa.

welcome Sounds like the dealer network works for you down there. Great!

Gotta ask - did you get to the Cup?

again, welcome! Ryde safe!

I appreciate the welcome.

Thank's for the warm welcome everyone. Yup, great riding here in South Africa if you choose your route carefully. Spyders don't like pot holes. You can generally miss with two wheels but the third will get you nine times out of ten. Local agents for Spyders do the best they can but a long laborious procedure if the problem is warranty based due to the fact that BRP won't budge on okaying a claim unless the required 1,000 E.Mails have been sent. Spyders are still a rarity around here so the curiosity factor remains high. All trips involve a lot of hooting, whistling, shouting, headlight flashing and so on. One is also guaranteed of being pulled over by the "authorities" anywhere, anytime just so that they can walk around the bike asking inane questions and taking pictures with their cell phones.
Annoying. We did not win the cup but had a great time hosting the visitors who I think enjoyed themselves.
Ride safe.

I like that 'red haired stepchild' analogy! So so true. The :spyder2: love of my life is named 'Vengeful'. Put an RT anywhere close to her and she will let you know her displeasure!
