• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hello - first spyder , first post

I also had a lot of problems with people, especially kids, jumping on the Spyder. I don't mind when I can supervise but when I'm not there it's disconcerting. So I purchased one of these and it completely solved the problem:
http://www.nelsonrigg.com/store/product.aspx?pid=1644

It also keeps the UV rays and rain off the seat and dash. Goes on/off in seconds and fits easily in the trunk in a small bag.

Congrats and enjoy! Get used to all the attention!

I have already thought about a cover - that is probably what I will end up doing also to keep the weather off.

Thanks to everyone for the welcome

That is a good option... although I was going to suggest a Gorilla Alarm (or a similar type of motorcycle alarm which has a perimeter sensor). That is going to be my next purchase!

And now the fun will start!:ohyea::yes::ohyea:

Welcome to :f_spider: World!!! I often take rides down to Smithville with my fried who also has a Spyder. I know of a few NJ Spydee owners but we seem to be at all corners of the state. I travel to New Hope alot also. A few days ago the was a post about us Jersey Spydee riders.
even though some posts are old you can still pick up alot of helpful tips. Maybe we run into each other some weekend around Smithville!
