Heim joint is still clicking, what should I try next?

I know there's been plenty of very informative posts regarding the "click" issue, but I need a little more data.

I started hearing the click after about 120 miles on my new sway bars. It was easily located per Ron's previous post about having someone stand on the pegs and rock the bike. I tightened all the bolts and applied a tad of silicone per previous posts. The issue went away for roughly 13 miles, but came back.

After removing the Heim links for inspection, I found almost zero debris, as you'd expect from a recent install.

Is there something else I should try next? I'm planning/praying that I can finally leave the house and ride this weekend but not at the risk of damaging anything.

Worth noting... I'm a very spirited rider. If a turn has three tires on the ground I'm doing it wrong!

Which bar do you have? Bajaron Original or Ultra?

I have an Ultra bar as well and have developed a "click" but mine is farther back than the sway bar. I can get it to click on either side as I stand on the bike and rock it side to side. Sounds like some thing just under and inside of the middle of the foot boards. I need to get some one to rock it while I lie under and touch the frame to see what is loose. May be what you are hearing as well.

Thanks for the reply! I'll check that out when it cools off in a few hours. The shop that did the installation checked "everything" again for me. Now the brake pedal won't spring back! Gotta love those guys....

There was a recall for the brake pedal issue for some years of the Spyder. It might be yours is suffering from a related issue. I know the recall fixed the problem for a secific date range of Spyders, but it might be worth looking up the recall notice on the NHTSA.gov website and then see if your problem is anything like the problem they fixed with the recall. It might be an issue of adjustment on yours. The two issues you have might not be related.

The bolts that goes through the blocks that mount the bar in the frame are supposed to be tighten until the hinge area between the two halves starts to bulge out slightly. If they're not, the blocks move, causing a noise.

Thanks for the help boys! Greased all three sides per the video and so far so good.

My VIN doesn't show as being part of the recall, but silicon spray below the pedal helped for now. The only changes I made was changing the Ufit from factory linkage 3 to a 5.
