Heated Grips

I'm going to install some heated grips before I head up to Spyders in the Smokies next month. Do the factory grips work through the left hand controller or is there a separate switch? I did a search but couldn't find anything. Any feedback from folks that have them?

It's a button under the center of the bars. That little black plastic cover that moves around is the location. Maybe someone has a pic..

Heated grips

My switch is located left side of ignition switch. I had heated grips installed when I bought my f3. Mine is only an on off button.

From past posts the Heated Grips on the F3 are about Mid Way Between the Low and High setting from the RT.
They only have one level!nojoke

Thanks!! I am really surprised that they don't run them through the existing switchgear. Same with the driving lights.

What company is best to go with, I have seen on Amazon a few options, any particular brand to get or to stay away from? I rode tonight about 2 hours realized that heated grips would make a world of difference.
