There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My thought is more of a meet and greet versus a "rally". The only expense would be your own fuel, hotel, and food. Depending on how many people make reservations would determine whether or not we need to split up the group for the Saturday ride.
Make this low key and least expensive. For Saturday's evening's entertainment we would just gather on the lake front and have some great conversations. There is a good restuarant next door to the hotel. If we get a good count of people ahead time I can set up a reservation. There is "buy your favorite beverage" store in town.
For dates, I was thinking middle to last part of June.

Go ahead and get the hotel discount...from experience don't sign a contract guaranteeing "x" # of rooms. I will post on FB as well as Spyder Xperience and see what response we get...yep keep it super simple....Hey I can get a couple mexican train dominoes games together...just thinking "out loud"

Posted inquiry on Fb...Girls on Spyders as well as Spyder Xperience...see what kind of interest is generated.....but even without any #'s I would start "dealing" on motel....let's make this happen. June is an ideal time for ryding in No Central WA...and Pateros is tiny town right on the river and has a fantastic coffee shop ...

I wanted to get hold of you guys after our meeting the 17th to see if it might be possible to get squared away to make a trip up to spokane again the end of may or first part of June. I was going to put it out at the Feb 17th meeting for interest.

Generally speaking for westsiders, will normally not head over to the east side until after Memorial Day. Simply, still chances of having black ice on the passes.
We can either do June 10, 11, and 12 or June 24th, 25th, and 26th.
Any time later will start conflicting with other established rallys.
